Dear Residents,
You may have seen in the news that there is concern about the Queen Elizabeth Hospital being rebuilt with a reduced specification vis a vis its current form. Prof Lesley Dwyer, Chair of the three-hospital group which is managing the new build project, has said that a review led by clinicians is underway and that no decisions have been taken yet re which services will remain at the QEH and which (if any) will be moved to the NNUH or other sites.
This is a crucial time for interested members of the public to get involved and have their say.
